Contributions

Arthrofibrosis after patellar injury or surgery

Scarring around the patella can lock up the whole joint, and it is not uncommon after patellar injury or surgery.

Key arthrofibrosis resources on the KNEEguru site

We have a lot of resources on the KNEEguru site for patients learning about arthrofibrosis.

Meniscus replacement

Dr Strover discusses the options of a donor meniscus or a scaffold replacement to replace damaged meniscus tissue.

Unloading a painful meniscus-deficient knee

Under favourable conditions unloading a damaged meniscus is an option for relieving meniscus pain.

Surgery for meniscus tears

Meniscal trimming and meniscal repair are both options to try to avoid a meniscectomy.
