What causes patellar subluxation?
Patients experiencing patellar subluxation may have any of several underlying structural problems. These include -
- trochlear dysplasia
- patella alta
- increased tibial external torsion
- valgus deformity
- medialised trochlear groove
- lateralised tibial tubercle
- combination of the above
