Nanofracture Autologous Matrix-Induced Chondrogenesis

Nanofracture Autologous Matrix-Induced Chondrogenesis is a cartilage regeneration procedure combining nanofracture and AMIC.

Rationale for the procedure

Nanofracture needling through the cartilage defect and the subchondral plate separating it from the bone produces local bleeding. The defect is then covered with a collagen membrane which is cut to shape and glued in with fibrin glue.
